  The 123rd High School Day Celebration of Ilocos Sur National High School (ISNHS) was a memorable and exciting event. The day started early at 6 AM with a grand parade around Vigan , where students, teachers, and school staff proudly marched to celebrate the school’s foundation. After the parade, we returned to our classrooms to rest for a while before the much-awaited dance competition began. Each grade level showcased their well-prepared performances, filled with energy and creativity. It was amazing to see how every group gave their best.   The fourth quarter has been a time of learning and exploring, especially in MS FrontPage and different types of networks like WAN, LAN, MAN, CAN, and PAN. MS FrontPage is a helpful program that makes web development easier, allowing users to design web pages, add images, and format text. This made it simple for beginners to learn the basics of web development. I also discovered different types of networks: LAN (Local Area Network) is used in small places like schools or offices, WAN (Wide Area Network) connects networks over long distances, MAN (Metropolitan Area Network) covers large areas like cities, CAN (Campus Area Network) is used in universities or business campuses, and PAN (Personal Area Network) connects personal devices like smartphones and laptops. We started our research journey with a simple yet challenging task choosing the right topic. Everyone had different ideas, but we all wanted something that could truly benefit the community. After hours of discussion, we finally agreed on studying the Aldaw Dagiti Mannalon Festival.  Once we had our topic, we divided responsibilities. Some focused on drafting surveys, others prepared interview questions, and a few of us began contacting community members. It was exciting but also a bit overwhelming. The most memorable part is we conducted interviews with farmers and residents and the gathered data through internet.  In the third quarter, I learned a lot about community-based research using HTML. One important thing I discovered was how to present information clearly online for different people. I found that using HTML helps organize the content in a way that makes it easier to understand. I also learned how research can be shared with the community through websites, making the information easier for everyone to find and read. However, there were some problems along the way. One challenge was figuring out how to create a well-structured website, especially when combining different HTML elements correctly. Still, Vigan was already known for its beauty, attracting visitors who admired its stone streets and old houses. Today, as a city, Vigan has grown while keeping its culture alive.   This new year, I want to focus on working harder. I know that success comes from putting in effort, so I will try my best in everything I do. Whether it’s school, work, or personal goals, I will stay focused and avoid distractions. By managing my time better and staying committed, I believe I can achieve great things. I also want to be more careful with money. Being thrifty means spending wisely and saving for the future. Instead of buying things I don’t need, I will plan my expenses and stick to a budget. I will find ways to reuse what I already have and only spend on things that truly matter. This will help me to save more money.  By working hard and being thrifty, I hope to make this year more meaningful. This year’s Christmas vacation was filled with excitement and unforgettable moments. I joined a badminton tournament and, after giving my best, I became the top 1 player. Winning the championship was an incredible experience and a reward for all the hard work and dedication I put into practicing. On top of that, I also played in an inter-barangay basketball tournament with my team, and we emerged as champions. It was a proud moment for all of us to bring home the title. As the New Year approached, we took time to celebrate it meaningfully by going to church as a family. As a student, I can help the environment by doing small things every day. Like: I picked up trash to keep our surroundings clean, prevent pollution, and protect wildlife. Trash, especially plastic, can harm animals and plants, pollute water sources, and make the environment unhealthy for humans. I planted trees and plants to improve air quality, provide habitats for wildlife, and combat climate change by absorbing carbon dioxide. I learned a lot in this first quarter. I’ve gained new knowledge and skills, especially the history of technology and how to make blog. Making blogs makes me learned about myself and our community, and I feel more confident applying what I've learned.   I faced many challenges especially in managing and balancing schoolwork with personal life. Sometimes, I felt overwhelmed with deadlines and assignments, which made it hard to stay organized and focused. I started using a planner to stay on track and asked for help when I needed it.
