Highschool Day

The 123rd High School Day Celebration of Ilocos Sur National High School (ISNHS) was a memorable and exciting event. The day started early at 6 AM with a grand parade around Vigan, where students, teachers, and school staff proudly marched to celebrate the school’s foundation. After the parade, we returned to our classrooms to rest for a while before the much-awaited

dance competition began. Each grade level showcased their well-prepared performances, filled with energy and creativity. It was amazing to see how every group gave their best. After the competition, the winners were announced, bringing excitement and cheers from the crowd.

In the afternoon, another exciting event took place—the Battle of the Bands. We gathered to watch different bands perform, each bringing their own unique style and music. The performances were loud, energetic, and full of passion, making the crowd cheer and enjoy the moment. It was a fun and lively way to end the celebration, bringing students together through music and entertainment.

The yearly celebration of ISNHS’s founding is important because it reminds us of the school’s rich history and achievements. It is a time to honor the efforts of past and present students, teachers, and staff who have contributed to the school’s success. This event also strengthens our school spirit and unity, allowing us to take part in meaningful activities that promote talent, teamwork, and pride in our school. Celebrating our foundation day every year helps us appreciate the legacy of ISNHS and inspires us to continue striving for excellence.
