As a student, I can help the environment by doing small things every day. Like: I picked up trash to keep our surroundings clean, prevent pollution, and protect wildlife. Trash, especially plastic, can harm animals and plants, pollute water sources, and make the environment unhealthy for humans. I planted trees and plants to improve air quality, provide habitats for wildlife, and combat climate change by absorbing carbon dioxide. Plants also help prevent soil erosion and maintain the balance of ecosystems. I recycled to reduce waste, conserve natural resources, and save energy. Recycling materials like paper, glass, and plastic reduces the need to produce new products from raw materials, which in turn decreases pollution and energy consumption. I spread awareness to educate people about the importance of protecting the environment. By sharing information, we encourage others to take action, make sustainable choices, and collectively reduce environmental damage. Reference: https://www.b

Reflection

Image
I learned a lot in this first quarter. I’ve gained new knowledge and skills, especially the history of technology and how to make blog. Making blogs makes me learned about myself and our community, and I feel more confident applying what I've learned.   I faced many challenges especially in managing and balancing schoolwork with personal life. Sometimes, I felt overwhelmed with deadlines and assignments, which made it hard to stay organized and focused. I started using a planner to stay on track and asked for help when I needed it. I also been hardworking in these past few days, doing my assignments and my tasks on time.  Moving forward, I’ll keep working on time management and staying organized, while also making sure to balance study and rest for the next quarter. National Teachers Month 2024, with the theme "Together4Teachers," reminds us of the vital role teachers play in shaping the future of our country. Teachers inspire, guide, and support students, helping them grow into responsible citizens and leaders. Their hard work, dedication, and passion go beyond the classroom, impacting lives in meaningful ways. This celebration is a chance to honor and thank teachers for their endless commitment to education. It also highlights the importance of working together to support and appreciate them, ensuring they have the resources and respect they deserve. Reference: Personal Message

Towards a Stronger Philippines

Image
Understanding the Causes and Responses The Philippines faces many natural disasters because of its location. Typhoons, earthquakes, and volcanic eruptions happen regularly, with around 20 typhoons hitting the country each year. Climate change is making these disasters worse, causing stronger storms and rising sea levels. Rapid urban growth and deforestation have also increased the country's vulnerability, as cities expand into areas that are more likely to experience floods or landslides. These challenges make it difficult for the Philippines to protect its people and economy from disaster impacts. In response, the government has taken steps to manage these risks. The National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) coordinates disaster response efforts, while local communities are trained in disaster preparedness. The government has also built better infrastructure, such as flood control systems, to reduce the damage caused by storms and other disasters. However,

WHO AM I

Image
Growing up, I often wondered who I really was. I asked myself questions like, "Am I good or bad? Arrogant or humble?" I spent a lot of time overthinking these things, trying to figure out how others saw me and how I saw myself. One day, I decided to ask my friends directly. I asked them what they thought of me—whether they saw me as arrogant or humble, good or bad. To my surprise, they said they didn’t notice anything strange about me. They told me they were happy to be my friends and enjoyed being around me. It made me realize that I was the only one overthinking everything. I had created these doubts in my mind, but no one else saw me the way I feared they did. I understood that my habit of overthinking was making me doubt myself for no reason. From then on, I realized that overthinking can do more harm than good. I had been looking for flaws where there weren’t any. My friends accepted me for who I was, and that was enough. I learned that instead of constantly questioning
